This juncture often marks the inception of issues, as architects, being distinct from contractors or quantity surveyors, struggle to provide precise pricing guidelines.
In my brother's scenario, I could have spared him a substantial R60,000 by advising him to postpone his home renovation until he was financially prepared. This pivotal moment propelled me towards offering a service aimed at filling the informational void. I am a Construction Management graduate from CPUT with a passion for turning houses into homes. My career journey began with a bursary at a housing development company where I gained valuable experience in the industry. Following that, I honed my skills by working on luxury apartments, and later took on the role of Contracts Manager for high-end housing projects.
Drawing on my diverse experience, I now specialize in home renovations, collaborating closely with interior designers, architects, and engineers. My goal is to create personalized spaces that blend aesthetics, functionality, and innovation. I believe that every home has its unique character and stories, and I strive to bring those elements to life through meticulous attention to detail and quality craftsmanship.

As a home consultant, my primary role is to assist clients in planning and budgeting for their renovations. I provide detailed cost estimates before they invest in architectural fees, ensuring the project aligns with their budget. Additionally, I facilitate connections with architects and other professionals, offering guidance on suitable contractors and specialist trades if needed. My aim is to streamline the process, helping clients make informed decisions and avoid budgetary surprises during their home improvement projects.
